On offer is an absolutely unique and rare piece of rally history. We travel back to 1999/2000 where the Lancer Evo 6 dominated rallying and proved its capabilities. Permanent all-wheel drive with limited slip differential and a powerful 2L turbo engine – nothing more needs to be said!
Only a very small number of the original left-hand drive (LHD) models were built and supplied to companies such as Ralliart Germany as new cars. In 1999, the company Ralliart created a homologated special model under the name Mitsubishi Carisma GT Black Diamond, which was based on the Lancer Evo 6 RS II with some small but very fine details. Features included the Black Diamond badges, the Carisma GT lettering at the rear and the Recaro SR seats with special Evolution VI and Ralliart Germany lettering embroidered and delivered exclusively in the color Black Metallic. An exact number of units delivered has not been confirmed, but collectors claim that around 88-200 units were sold.
But one thing is absolutely clear! Such a vehicle with such a history and such a rarity value is one of the most sought-after collector’s items and will not be found on the market again any time soon!
