Offered is a now rare cult vehicle from the house of Honda. The car comes from serious first ownership of a retired Honda employee who cared for and cherished the car over all these years. A car in such a sensational condition and with such a mileage from first ownership will hardly appear a second time on the market.
For sporty ambitious family fathers Honda offered the Accord as Type-R between 1999 and 2002. On the outside, the sills, skirts, matte black radiator grille, rear spoiler and dual exhaust cut a fine figure. It received a reinforced sport-tuned suspension, a differential lock, a stiffer and lower suspension and 17-inch alloy wheels with brakes adopted from the Honda NSX, making it sporty and agile around corners. But even in everyday life it is still comfortable enough to go on trips with family and co. But the main focus was of course on the heart of the Accord Type R: a 2.2-liter VTEC unit with 212 hp that can rev up to an incredible 8000 rpm. The sedan thus sprints to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds, with a top speed of 228 km/h. In addition to the driving performance, the Japanese convinces with a TOP standard equipment for those times, including Recaro sports seats in Alcantara, xenon, air conditioning, carbon decor in the interior and a huge trunk.
