Offered is a Japanese Subaru Impreza STi in complete original condition, rarely found in Europe. The Japanese version has a very big difference from all the European models.
Under the hood, in fact, is the legendary 2-liter forged Subaru EJ207 engine with the twinscroll turbocharger, which has been installed by Subaru in the STi models for many years and has proven itself.

The 3 letters STI traditionally put the sporty crown on the Impreza range. The third generation of the Impreza WRX STI road racing car also represents the most powerful, the fastest and the most agile production vehicle from the world’s largest manufacturer of all-wheel drive passenger cars. It wants to be a sports car, it is a sports car, and the driver has to put on a sports car like a tailor-made suit. The new Impreza WRX STI fits the bill.

Subaru pushed its design department at the time to create something special, and they succeeded. The rounded shapes and sharp angles on the headlights and the narrow grille above the bumper made the car look aggressive. The air scoop on the hood was functional and also traditional for the WRX STI. In the lower part, in the apron, the manufacturer has installed fog lights. Normally, the earlier STI versions did not have them. Unlike the rest of the Impreza lineup, the front and rear fenders have been widened in a tuning style. At the rear, above the tailgate, the manufacturer added a wide wing.

In the interior, the quality of the materials was better than before. The Alcantara-trimmed front sport bucket seats and the flat, split-folding rear bench seat gave customers the feeling that they weren’t buying an empty shell with an engine.

For the new Impreza WRX STI, engineers have revised the driver’s control center differential (DCCD), a standard feature. The driver manually controls the distribution of power between the front and rear axles via a rotary knob in the center console. This allows him to precisely adjust the handling to his personal preferences: If he wants to drift more, he directs more torque to the rear axle. For this, it can adjust the LSD in 6 preset levels. If he wants automatic balance, he leaves the torque distribution to the electronics.
