The sports car, which weighs almost 1.8 tons, storms out of the starting blocks and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. There’s no time to catch your breath, and the Benz doesn’t need it. The car hits 200 km/h after 15.6 seconds – a basic 911 can’t do that much faster. The way there is one big rush, an addictive mix of infernal roar and brutal thrust. Thanks to an attentive nine-speed automatic with shortened shifting times, the V6 just keeps on accelerating at every rpm and would run well over 250 km/h without flinching with its pistons – if it weren’t for the electronic ankle bracelet. And the friendly gas station attendant tops up the tank with 10.6 liters of Super plus every 100 kilometers. We were impressed by the C 43 . Strongly even.
